I am a professional British artist.
In 1982 I gained an Honours Degree in Fine Art. After my studies I worked from my own studio in Chester.
Today I have my studio in Leipzig.
I have exhibited regularly in the UK and Germany
The sea and all things nautical are the main influences in my oil
paintings.
I grew up on the Wirral Peninsula in the North West of England.
As a young child I was inspired to be an artist by my
great uncle who was a commercial artist.
He worked for the Eagle comic
and also produced chocolate box scenes for Barker and Dobson
confectioners.
My paintings are held in public and private collections
in the USA, Germany, UK, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Israel, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Poland.
My work has also been
published by Ecosse Fine Art and by Woodmansterne, the major card
retailer.
I have also been featured in the Paint and Draw Collection Magazine in 2017 and 2018. In 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 a Brewery in the USA chose a piece of my work to illustrate their Festive Holiday Beer Can Label.
